Delman Coachmen and Horse Owners in South Jakarta Receive KTPKP and SKKKP

Horse-drawn carriage (delman) coachmen and horse owners in South Jakarta received Working Horse Owner's Identity Card (KTPKP) and Working Horse Driver (Coachman) Certificate (SKKP)

By having this card, all coachmen and horse owners can get free facilities from Working Horse Care Program

Those ID cards which issued by South Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency and Transportation Sub-agency together with Jakarta Animal Aid Network (JAAN) were officialy launched by South Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin on Monday (10/18) at Pesanggrahan Delman Horse Stable, Jalan Palem VIII Gang Kubur, Petukangan, Pesanggrahan.

According to Munjirin, KTPKP and SKKKP were issued to oversee the standard use of working horses in accordance with animal welfare aspects.

"By having this card, all coachmen and horse owners can get free facilities from Working Horse Care Program," he added.

He hopes delman coachmen and horse owners who affected by COVID-19 pandemic can get back on their feet again.

South Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head, Hasudungan Sidabalok conveyed, KTPKP and SKKKP launching was carried out to follow up government's concern for working horses.

"Working horses population in South Jakarta reaches 43 horses owned by 29 people. In detail, 33 horses are located in Pesanggrahan Sub-district, 8 horses in Tebet Sub-district, and 2 horses in Jagakarsa," he explained.
